Ward Forums: Learning & Sharing for Parents/Guardians
Ward Forums are chance for parents/guardians to come together with each other and, along with your trustee and superintendents, share ideas and information, discuss issues and concerns. They take place most months throughout the school year.
Many school councils in our area select a Ward rep to attend meetings and represent their school communitiy’s interests or concerns, and to take information back to their council. I strongly encourage your School Council to follow this approach.
Our first Ward Forum for the current school year will take place at Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute/Greenwood Secondary, at 6:30 pm on Tuesday October 24th. The topic will be School Councils 101.
If you’d like more information about what these roles entail, please feel free to reah out to me by email.
