Dear Frankland Families:
Frankland Staff and School Council collaborate each winter to bring students a range of Lunch Time activities for students in Grades 1 – 6 (sports teams, clubs, classes and lunch programs). Our School Staff and School Council are providing a wide range of activities between the week of January 4th, 2016 and March Break. Some are new and some will be familiar from last year. The attachment provides a calendar of activities.
Please note that activities marked with a * are offered by Frankland School Staff. Programs marked with a ** have been arranged by School Council and are run by outside partners. Programs marked with a * or ** require registration. Registration forms can be found on the Frankland website under School Council – Lunch Programs – Link HERE or can be picked up from the school office. All registration forms must be returned to the school office by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10th (if there are excess registrations a lottery will be conducted). Programs in partnership with Sean Beglin at the Community Centre are paid for by School Council.
Chess, Art, Jumping Clay, In the Mix and Raising Readers Programs require a fee to be paid by interested parents. Questions or inquiries can be directed to School Council – Parent, Alison Popp at firstname.lastname@example.org or the school through Terry Walsh at email@example.com
Registration is now open for Winter Lunch Programs. Please visit the Frankland (TDSB) website HERE to see a weekly schedule of events including clubs, games, sports, photography, arts, eco activities, computers and hobbies.
All activities require a completed registration form to be returned by Dec. 12th. Registration forms can be downloaded through the above link. They can also be picked up from a binder in the school office.
